Affirmations for not knowing yet

Wanting certainty is fair. Not getting it is not a sign something is wrong.

A lot of anxiety is not fear of a bad outcome. It is the refusal of an unknown one. The mind treats "I do not know" as an emergency and starts generating answers, and since it has no information, the answers it generates are guesses dressed as predictions.

These sentences do not resolve the uncertainty, because nothing can. They make it survivable: acting on what you know today, holding two possible futures without picking one, asking for the information you are missing instead of inventing it.

One of them tends to do more work than the rest — uncertainty is uncomfortable, not unsafe. Discomfort is not evidence. The waiting feeling is not a signal about how it ends.

Questions

How do I cope with waiting for news?

Treat the waiting as its own load rather than a neutral gap — it is genuinely tiring, which is why you have no energy. Narrow your decisions to what today's information supports, and let tomorrow have tomorrow's.

Why do these sound different from most affirmations?

Most affirmation lists ask you to declare something you do not believe — "I am completely calm", "I am a magnet for peace". Ours are written to be sayable by a skeptical adult on a bad day. They acknowledge the difficulty first, then hand you something to stand on.

How often should I read them?

Once, properly, beats twenty times while scrolling. Most people pick two or three that land and come back to those. Ballast sends one a day and then stops.
